In a world of noise, the yearning for personalized, meaningful connections grows.
New year, same vision.
I often get asked about ITM and what we're building. As we approach our beta launch, it's time to delve into the 'why?' behind it all. Our mission is pivotal – to redefine identity in a world that's both hyper-connected, yet increasingly disconnected.
Amidst the digital noise, where true selves are blurred, ITM stands as a beacon to restore the depth and authenticity lost in today's digital identities. We're not just creating a platform; we're crafting a movement to bring genuine individuality back to the forefront.
With ITM we are connecting you to a future that is unmistakably, authentically yours where every service and experience is perfectly tailored to your uniqueness, designed for you, by you.
Our vision is no small feet, we are essentially redesigning the whole foundation of access and personal identity which in turn will change how you view and experience the world(s). This will require a mass of data, and not just any data. We require hyper personalized data that was made by the user without restrictions so our baseline is true at the core. Thankfully a few months ago I found my CTO co-founder (more to come on that) and together we designed and built our first product to actually capture that data, but not only that we were able to take on a market that is prone to consumer hate and brand frustration with both desperately looking for a new solution.
My founder moat or unfair advantage in the space compared to say a pure tech founder or a visionary founder is my design background. As a designer founder I have designed products and brands as well as language models, strategies, partnerships, campaigns for both early stage companies and bluechip.
With part-time.studio I am constantly crafting product strategies and business models to make sure my clients have best possible playbook for success, so when it came to ITM I made sure the vision was supported by products that each had a connected data stream, a platform to facilitate and a b2b play that allows growth at scale and multiple stable revenue avenues.
One of saddest things to happen with the rise of apps like TikTok and short form content is the loss of true narrative. These days it’s about quick/short attention spans, brands going against what they stand for to be part of a trend in hopes to go viral and the assumption humor is the only tool to sell. Brands are appointing creative directors that will get the best press reaction, not what is best for the brand and their consumers.
With no real solution there is a rise of questions around what is next? And how will we get back control? While I was writing this I actually came across a post by Outlander Magazine asking the same about fashion shows, and how they have become nothing but a gimmick to capture the short window of social time they have and no longer getting the timeframe they deserve and need.
One of the proudest achievements with ITM is how we look at time, and the value we place on every second both at a brand level and fan level. We remove mass generalized content and products and the ‘need’ for endless doomscrolling and replace it with personalized storytelling that is served inline with the narrative of the product or experience journey. This means brands and fans can build a true connected relationship that is based on emotional investment, not a fleeting moment off a trend or viral post.
As we move into beta I am opening up the doors to brands, artists and creators who want to be part of the beta program and a piece of history. This also goes for those in PR, experiential, production, management or any other role where you manage, design or look after a brand. Please reach out to me directly at cam@itm.studio to learn more.
I would be a terrible founder if I also didn’t let all the investors who are reading this know we going to be raising a seed round in the coming months when I am back in NYC & LA for beta. If you want early access and to learn more you can reach me on the same email above.
Next post will include our first product, co-founder announcement, partnerships, advisors and a few more special projects that are in stealth.
LFG!
